First off, everybody thank Ron! Ron Johannesen is a gladiator of the gridiron and a slayer in the oval office known as the field of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, President’s Football Team. Green and Gold F.D.R. Alumni forever! Ron wanted a healthy cheesecake. Ron, we went back in time a few 100 years, removed the sugar and lemon, and replaced it with honey and orange zest, with fresh-squeezed orange juice. New York – although you were not around in the Renaissance – we gave you a nod in honor of Ron by using a Brooklyn Honey. “Fuggedaboutit” – it’s the best honey made cheesecake ever, cause Mom never made it that way, capisce!
